The diameter of the material sealing tube is mainly determined by the particle size composition of the kiln clinker, including the size of the largest particle size and the percentage of large chunk content. Due to the different equipment conditions, raw and fuel material properties and firing operation characteristics of each plant, the particle size composition of the shaft kiln clinker is also different. Generally, the granularity of the clinker coming out of the kiln is smaller for tower kilns and roller and pendulum roller kilns, while the granularity of the clinker coming out of the kiln is larger for disc kilns and reciprocating kilns. A tower head unloader without eccentricity or with inconspicuous eccentricity is prone to produce flaky chunks. The clinker particle size is also related to the wear and tear of the unloader, especially roller and pendulum roller kilns. In a new kiln with a new unloader, the clinker particle size coming out of the kiln is smaller. After the roller teeth are worn, the clinker particle size will increase. In addition, too many flux minerals and the use of deep-fire operating methods will increase the number of large pieces cooked in the kiln.
The throttle is the actuator of the material seal discharger to control the discharge volume. Whether it is manual operation or automatic control, the discharge volume of the shaft kiln must be controlled through the throttle. General feeders and certain conveying equipment can be used as throttles for material seal dischargers. The conditions that such throttles should meet are: 1.
